With this version of Pico Islands we introduce the new XP system.
From now on finished jobs of your workers and ships give you XP points, which fill up your rank progress in the upper screen.
With every completed rank you get a skill point to invest in skill upgrades. You can upgrade the chance to discover bigger islands or increase the movement speed of your workers and ships.

Another new feature is the ground type "steppe". In this dry landscape no tree can survive. Grass and agriculture will grow significantly slower but in contrary to the desert, you can build structures on it.
